Erin & Darby's Late Summer Wedding in Woodstock, VT

Erin and Darby’s wedding in Woodstock, Vermont was a prime example of a best case scenario for back-up weddings planned in 2020. When the pandemic forced these two to change their Woodstock Inn plans, they turned to their friends and family to think of other possibilities in the area. For them the next best thing was a property not far from downtown Woodstock, high up on a hill that overlooked the town complete with a beautiful open air post and beam barn and wonderful views of the surrounding area. Planning and executing a wedding during such uncertain times to this degree of success is no easy task, and as Erin’s sisters noted during their toast at dinner it would likely be the highlight of 2020 for lots of folks in attendance. We’ll take any excuse to get to Vermont during what is one of our favorite times of year there (our wedding four years ago took place during the same week), and Erin and Darby’s beautiful end of summer wedding was just that.
