Andrew & Ryan's Wintery Boston City Hall Elopement

It’s time for our annual mid-February wedding post and this time it’s quite a small one. Andrew and Ryan first shared with us their plan to walk from their home in the South End of Boston to Boston City Hall exactly one month ago, and we were more than happy to tag along. Choosing the mid-week date that marked their 10 year dating anniversary, these two prioritized a day that felt intimate, low-key, and very much highlighted the city they’ve called home for years together. For the record we love days like this: a casual start at home, a chilly walk through snowy historic streets and boulevards, and a no-frills city hall ceremony make for a lovely opportunity to make a Thursday in the dead of winter feel special. We’re firm believers that every ceremony is beautiful in its own way and deserves to be documented, and this one for Andrew and Ryan was no different.
