Cecilia, Ben, and Lu's Family Session in Providence, RI

Sometimes when we hear from folks looking for a wedding photographer our calendars don’t quite line up - it’s often bittersweet to be booked and busy while hearing about things we’d love to also photograph but are unable to. Cecilia and Ben are a perfect example of this, which made them reaching out to see if we offer family photo sessions over a year later a lovely opportunity to work together. While it’s not something we’ve traditionally offered we’re coming to realize how fun it can be to take a peek into a new family’s lives and document such a tender time in their history together. We’re super interested in doing more of this; turning a normal cozy Sunday afternoon into something to remember for decades. Meeting up with these three just a few streets away from our apartment was both creatively challenging and incredibly rewarding for all of us - a very serendipitous early spring Providence moment captured on both 35mm and medium format film.
